This sweet girl unfortunately had a severe rectal prolapse when she was found along with an upper respiratory infection that caused so much gooping that her eyes were unable to open. We brought her to the vet to see if anything could be done for her. Unfortunately, it would have required a major surgery operation to fix and repair the prolapse. She sadly was too weak and small to be a good candidate for such a major surgery. We made the decision to have her humanly euthanized, so she didn’t have to suffer anymore. I am sharing this to highlight how sad and unfortunate life can be to kittens born in the wild and without proper care from the beginning of life! It is so important to spay and neuter cats so that they aren’t having kittens in the wild to fend for themselves. This little girl was so sweet and it’s unfortunate that she struggled so much before being found. At least she is no longer suffering.
