Cody is now retired and available for a pet home. He is very handsome with a great personality and a wonderful family dog! He is a lazy boy that prefers to lounge around! He’s never been interested in retrieving or playing fetch, but he does enjoy a good game of tug-of-war with a rope toy! He is 7.5 years old but still is in great health and no gray hairs! He still has a lot of good life left in him! He is good with kids, cats and other dogs! He also has been a great guard dog and keeps great watch over our chickens and ducks! He could be an ideal farm dog or lazy couch companion!

Cody is our very handsome, male, Fox Red Labrador Retriever. We bought Cody as our family pet when he was 8 weeks old. As he grew older his color turned a deep red and he personality and demeanor were fantastic. We decided he had a great look and personality for breeding, so we pursued all the health testing for him! He is a wonderfully loyal and calm dog. On a nice day if he is outside when we leave the house, he follows us up to his boundary point and then waits there until we come back! He is always so happy to see us! He has a very laid back and relaxed personality. He enjoys playing tug of war with people and our other dogs. Like any good lab he enjoys playing fetch. In the summer he loves to cool off and go for a swim in our lake. Cody is clear of genetic defect and is OFA-CHIC Certified - meaning he has gone through and passed health testing that is recommended for the Labrador Retriever breed. His OFA test for elbows were normal and his hips were rated excellent! He’s a very happy healthy dog!
